New type of cargo (ESS) on the Chipolbrok logistics platform in Central and Eastern Europe!

The 10 energy storage systems (ESSs), each weighing 36 tonnes, were successfully transported from the port of Piraeus in Greece to the project facility in Bulgaria.
POLBROK took care of the entire process comprehensively - from covering the 960 km route to all the paperwork. On 24 June, the last energy storage facility arrived safely on site, meaning that the project was fully and on time.

When the cargo arrived at the port of Piraeus, the POLBROK-organised transport convoy was already on site, waiting for immediate collection. The customs team launched electronic document verification in parallel, reducing the handling time of the formalities to a minimum. The transport required double clearance - export clearance in Greece and import clearance in Bulgaria. Thanks to POLBROK's experience and cooperation with local customs agencies, all procedures went smoothly, without unnecessary delays.

Transport was a key element of the entire operation. POLBROK, taking into account the dimensions and weight of each warehouse, developed individual loading and lashing plans, and 10 heavy-duty torsion-axle trailers were directed to the task. The convoy was equipped with a GPS system for full route visualisation, and every phase of the transport was monitored in real time. Advance preparation of routes, restrictions and road and border conditions guaranteed full control and safety of the transport.
